CATERERS
The Ecotrust Community Grant Program is an annual open-application cycle that awards ten grants per year for free space: six for the Billy Frank Jr. Conference Center and the Rooftop Terrace, two for the Irving Street Studio, and two for the Redd on Salmon Street. The grant cycle remains open until all grants are awarded. All grant applications will be reviewed within ten business days from the date they are received. PLEASE NOTE: all Redd on Salmon Street community grants have been awarded for 2020.
Ecotrust’s Community Grants offer nonprofits with limited means the opportunity to use our event spaces, free of cost. We see mutual benefit: we want to help you accomplish your goals, and we want you to bring inspiring life to our event spaces. We partner with groups of all sizes to share the creativity and drive that make our community great.

Ecotrust works to build a robust regional food system that is environmentally, socially, and economically responsible. All of our catering partners share a commitment to these values.
We believe that procurement is powerful. That’s why the majority of our catering options are women- or minority-owned and operated, offering you the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to equity through your catering investment. These establishments work directly with local farmers, ranchers, fishers, and foragers to bring you the most delicious, local, and seasonal menus available. They are also committed to creating healthy work environments for their employees and minimizing energy use and food waste. This includes providing leftover food to people experiencing food insecurity.

Full-service catering typically includes furniture rentals, in-house furniture set up and break down, bar service and staffing.

Limited-service catering typically includes food drop off and pick up. It does not include furniture rentals and in-house furniture arranging. Clients booking the Irving Street Studio or the Redd must hire staffing for furniture set up and break down. Client is also responsible for all service and cleaning in absence of a full service caterer.
